After t1
VA=0−gt1=−2gh
and VB=2gh−gt1=gh[2−21]
at the time of collision
pi=pf
⇒mVA+mVB=2mVf
⇒−2gh+gh[2−21]=2Vf
Vf=0
and height from ground
=h−21gt12=h−4h=43h
so time ,
t=2×g(43h)=23gh
