NCERT textbooks and solutions
Our NCERT sections — the free textbook PDFs and the chapter-wise questions and solutions built from them — are based on textbooks published by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), an autonomous organisation of the Government of India.
We host copies of the official PDFs so they can be downloaded without registration. The textbooks remain the property of NCERT, and the authoritative editions are published on the NCERT website. Questions and solutions in the NCERT section are our own explanatory material written against those textbooks; they are not published by NCERT and are not endorsed by NCERT.

College and university rankings
Rankings shown on our NIRF pages are published by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Ministry of Education, Government of India. We reproduce them for comparison and do not compute, adjust or weight them.
