Volume of water flowing out=Av, where A is area of opening and v is speed of water from the opening.
Volume=πr2v
0.74(minm3)=(3.14×(2×10−2)2×2×10×H)sm3×min60s
⇒H=(60×3.14×4×10−40.74)2×201
⇒H=4.8m
Hence, the height of water in the tank was 4.8m from the bottom of the tank.
