Thermal decomposition of ammonium dichromate (NH4)2Cr2O7 on heating gives N2,Cr2O3 and H2O as follows:
(NH4)2Cr2O7→ΔN2+Cr2O3+4H2O
2KMnO4(s)+16HCl(aq)→2KCl(aq)+2MnCl2(aq)+8H2O(l)+5Cl2(g)
The reaction of Aluminium with Sodium hydroxide (Al+NaOH) gives a salt and Hydrogen gas.
2Al(s)+2NaOH(l)+6H2O(l)→2Na[Al(OH)4](s)+3H2(l)
On heating sodium nitrate it undergoes decomposition reaction and liberates oxygen and convert into sodium nitrite.
