The complex that absorbs minimum wave length of light has maximum splitting

${\Delta }_{0}\propto \frac{1}{\lambda } {\Delta }_{0}=\mathrm{Crystal}\mathrm{field}\mathrm{stabilization}\mathrm{energy}$

Here, ${\mathrm{CN}}^{-}$ being $\mathrm{strong}\mathrm{field}\mathrm{ligand}$ ,It will have cause CFSE So, ${[\mathrm{Co}(\mathrm{CN}{)}_{6}]}^{3-}$ will absorb minimum wavelength.

The hybridization of Co in ${[\mathrm{Co}(\mathrm{CN}{)}_{6}]}^{3-}$ will be ${d}^{2}{\mathrm{sp}}^{3}$
