In the process of protein synthesis, messenger RNA is responsible for carrying the genetic code transcribed from DNA. The process is known as translation and it occurs in ribosomes. The sequence of amino acids in a particular protein is determined by the sequence of nucleotides in m-RNA. Ribosomal RNA (rRNA) help translate the information in messenger RNA ( m RNA) into protein. transfer RNA, or t RNA bring amino acids to the ribosome for protein production in a specific order, and reads the codons from the messenger RNA or mRNA.
