Morula is a stage of embryo, having solid ball of cells, having 8-16 cells which is transferred into uterus via Intra uterine Transfer (IUT). The zygote or embryo with upto 8 blastomeres is transferred into the fallopian tube. This is called zygote intra fallopian transfer (ZIFT). Related Theory In vitro fertilization involves the fertilization of ovum with sperm outside the body of mother in a glass container. The embryo transfer (ET) is then done in the uterus of the mother through IUT (Intra uterine transfer) to start the development and finally leading to normal birth, also called test tube baby technique. GIFT (Gamete Intrafallopian Transfer) involves transfer of two of the retricved unfertilised oocytes or ova and the sperms into fallopian tube through laparoscope. Fertilization occurs in vivo, in fallopian tube. In AIT (Artificial Insemination Technique), husband's sperms are defective, artificial insemination donor is required. This semen from donor is artificially introduced into the vagina or into uferus (intra uferine insemination).
