Solution

One man does $\frac{1}{3 \times 6} = \frac{1}{18}$ work per day. One woman does $\frac{1}{5 \times 18} = \frac{1}{90}$ work per day. 4 men plus 10 women per day: $\frac{4}{18} + \frac{10}{90} = \frac{20}{90} + \frac{10}{90} = \frac{30}{90} = \frac{1}{3}$ . So time needed $= 3$ days.
